about Dave Flatau
Dave loved life - and all who knew Dave loved him. Dave cherished the earth and loved to gaze at its beauty. He had a child- like wonder about the world around him and shared his passions with abandon. Dave had a vivid imagination and was truly a creative genius. A generous and caring man, he was prone to random acts of kindness just to see people smile. A bright light in the dark - kindness unmatched - beloved by all - he was gone too soon, but will be with us always.
Dave was an important contributor to the development of Bull’s Bridge and could be seen on his bulldozer improving the course. Dave loved Bull’s Bridge and strove to make it a better place. Dave was struck down by a sudden heart attack at age 58, in the prime of his life. His family and friends created the Dave’s Day Golf Classic to honor his memory and benefit the cardiology services at New Milford Hospital.
